About the Game

"Parasomnia" is a 2D pixel-style psychological horror game. Players will delve into the inner world of a child named Sunny, who suffers from "night terrors". By playing the role of this child, players will experience Sunny's subconscious fears and struggles.

With the eerie black fog and the lingering pursuers, you need to find your way out in the multiple stages of nightmares. This is not just an escape, but also a psychological profiling of memory - when the fragments of reality are reflected in the dreams, do you have the courage to piece together the entire truth? 

The game is equipped with Chinese and English versions, as well as adaptations for different resolutions.

Core Features

The game allows players to explore, make choices and embark on adventures in different 2D and 2.5D level perspectives. They can delve into the dreams, collect items and gradually piece together the entire story. 

The game features a multi-ending determination system. When the nightmare is coming to an end, if you are dissatisfied with the current situation, do you have the courage to go back and make different choices?

The game was created as a university student project by a group of six people. It was developed over a period of two months in the summer of 2026.
